Your day to day:
- Design cloud solutions (CaaS, IaaS and/or PaaS) in accordance with Vodafone needs & best practices.
- Evaluate Vendor technical & commercial offers & support Vodafone supply chain activities during commercial negotiations.
- Prepare mid & long term financial planning activities (Network Evolution Plan & Long Range Plan) in line with vendor roadmap & technology evolution factoring in traffic growth, service quality & network performance.

Support capacity planning and its continuous monitoring through machine learning techniques.- Support budget forecasting and execution throughout the financial year.

With these skills you are a great candidate:
- Excellent overall knowledge of virtualization & cloud native platforms
- Experience in VMWare TCP, TCI & TCA software applications
- Experience with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG);
- Ability to manage HW & S/W lifecycle management with a focus on security;

Ability to design infrastructure solutions based on above technologies considering efficiency, security, resilience & automation.
Nice to have:
- Self-starting individual who combines analytic ability with excellent written & verbal communication.
- IT / Engineering degree supported by experience in cloud engineering solution design & delivery
- Experience in IP networking would be an additional benefit.
