Position Description:

Vistant is seeking Communications Specialist in support of USAID/Ukraine. The Communications Specialist reports to the Senior Communications Advisor (“Senior DOC”) and, working with the Senior DOC, drafts, edits and reviews the following internal and public-facing communications products: factsheets; summaries; blogs; social media posts; press releases; and infographics. The incumbent works closely with USAID/Ukraine implementing partners and plays a central role creating content (for internal and external audiences) that communicates USAID assistance to Ukraine across all of the Mission’s Development Objectives.
The incumbent works with the Senior DOC and DOC Specialist to plan and implement social media campaigns. The incumbent may also provide writing and editing support to the Mission Front Office or Program Office on an as-needed basis. Specific Deliverables: Factsheets, summaries, blogs, press releases, infographics, social media posts, and other, as directed.
Position Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including international development, international affairs, public relations, English, journalism, economics, or other related field. Prior Work Experience:
- At least three years of progressively responsible experience in outreach and communications, journalism, or international development.
