Financial Accountant

OVERVIEW:
The Financial Account will assist the EMEA Finance Director wit important weekly and month end tasks and be responsible for ensuring that inter-company accounts are in agreement. It will be a very varied and challenging role with the opportunity to work with fellow finance colleagues across the Skillsoft Group.
The successful Account Executive will have a strong track record of achievement and will be able to demonstrate excellent excel skills and attention to detail and the ability to work remotely. Fluency in English & Arabic is required, French would be a real bonus.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Working with the EMEA Finance Director in the preparation of the EMEA monthly accounts packages
- Working with the EMEA Finance Director in the preparation of the EMEA monthly GL Upload files
- Reviewing and consolidating Cashflows from all EMEA entities into one EMEA Consolidated cashflow
- Preparing in conjunction with the EMEA Finance Managers all inter-company accounts, ensuring that i/co payment terms are adhered to and that all accounts are in agreement
- Working with the EMEA Finance Director in the calculation of interest on inter-company loans
- Ensuring that all novation of inter-company balances with GK US to NL Holdings BV have been correctly processed , ensuring that GK US do the same.
- This is not intended to be a full description of duties and you will be expected to assist in such duties as may be required
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years + Accounting experience in a medium sized firm (must have had General Ledger, AR & AP experience)
- Excellent excel skills.
- Team Player
- Ability to work under pressure and alone
- Fluency in English & Arabic is required, French would be a real bonus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision is desirable but not essential.
