About the opportunity
As Franchise Head, you will define the Franchise strategy, aligned to organization’s strategic priorities, ensuring execution of strategic and tactical planning including currently marketed products and any future products in this therapy area.
About growing with us – in this role you will
- Hold Franchise P&L, lead sales forecasting and resource allocation across country
- Lead and empower the Franchise Team and enable strong cross functional and agile Ways-of-working providing strategic guidance and vision
- Develop data-driven directions that drive greater customer and market understanding, empower launch strategies, lead to business development opportunities, and help meet commercial objectives
- Support brand team to develop & execute Brand strategy and tactical plan in close cooperation with cross-functional team members
- Monitor market trends and developments, market research studies and KPIs (sales, market share, sales force effectiveness, etc.) to drive improvements in business and customer experience. Assess effectiveness develop and implement strategy / tactics adjustment
- Prepare and support launch readiness and business cases in collaboration with region
- Build and lead the implementation of the cross-functional franchise tactics, from market access to commercial success
- Focus on external engagement by developing professional partnerships with key stakeholders. Focus on internal engagement by building network with key stakeholders at above country level enabling optimal patient access to therapies and outstanding services to customers
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and experimentation, support team members on capability building, build a growth mindset culture with a deep focus on reinventing the customer engagement model
- Focus on Sales Force coaching and development
- Encourage & foster best practice sharing among countries & franchises & scaling up campaigns & projects
- Ensure alignment among the Franchise team members, delegate tasks and responsibility to appropriate personnel, match skills and abilities to maximize effectiveness
- Drive transformation based on SPC global guidelines. Serve as role-model in terms of customer orientation, to develop a high performing customer centric organization
- Lead local divestments and participate in global divestment projects
About you: qualifications, education and work experience
- Degree in Marketing, Economics, Health Economics, management engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial roles – previous experience in Specialty Care roles will be an advantage
- Marketing skills - Brand planning/execution across all channels (omnichannel)
- Sales skills focused on leading & empowering sales team
- Launch experience – preferably from more markets
- Demonstrated understanding of business environment
- Ability to cultivate effective relationships, and to influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels
- Resilience, rigor, reliability, and discretion
- Good analytics, structure & synthesis skills; capability to deal with a vast number of information and prioritize according to business relevance
- Humility, not driven by personal agenda
- Self-driven, Results-oriented; Demonstrate a high-level drive, passion, and ambition for optimal results
- Experience of managing effective business transformation
- Skills for people development, high performing team formulation
- Develop fresh approaches to deliver results
